Volunteer Voices

"Volunteering with child advocacy groups has always been a personal passion. The Hope House is such a deserving organization, reaching out to women, and in many cases, helping their children. Hope House helps fortify the very foundation of the community. I cannot personally think of a better way to contribute to society."

"It is so easy, as a business owner, to get too focused inward. Volunteering for a cause as important as Hope House reminds me of those people in our community who need a hand while helping me to count my own blessings."

"One particular moment that is vivid in my memory is of Christmas 2004 when we took some toys to the children. Of course, the children were overjoyed, but one mother was brought to tears because of the chance to offer her child something she never could have without Hope House. There is a beautiful poem by Emily Dickenson that alludes to the fact that if you can change one life you have made the world a better place. I owe Hope House a most heartfelt thank you for that wonderful opportunity. This experience has been invaluable."
